Haunting and tragically romantic yet conflicting, this novella surprised me in the topics it was willing to grapple with in such a short amount of pages (while somehow still escaping complete comprehension in that way the best pieces of horror do). Certainly not for everyone, but likely exactly the book some have been looking for.
